Been here a few times now and will certainly be going back again. I would categorize the menu as high-end bar food with a gourmet twist. They do an excellent job at ensuring good quality at a good price. I think by this point, I've probably tried everything on the menu. Some of my favorites include the Pork Belly Watermelon Salad, the Empanadas, Shrimp and Roasted Red Peppers, Mac + Cheese (with Bacon, of course), Prociutto Flatbread and BBQ Pizza Flatbread. Other than that, I can't really say that I've had a bad item on the menu. Aside from the food, there are a few other great attributes to this place: - The staff is always very welcoming and fun. I've run into the owner (one of two, I believe) a few times and she is very funny and welcoming. Service is attentive and light-hearted. - Great selection of wines by the glass/bottle and craft beers. Someone once described it to me as a "wine bar". Another person as a "beer bar". Hey, I'm fine with both... - They serve food until 10 or 11, depending on the night. It's tough to get good quality food at 10:30 at night and, being used to NYC dining culture, I tend to eat pretty late. - Really reasonably priced for the quality of food you get. We've taken two out-of-towners here on separate occasions and we both enjoyed it. All in all, it's a neighborhood spot that I'll be going to again and again...

Great little neighborhood place in Wilton Manors serving small plates and craft beers.

Very nice place to have some delicious eats, craft beer and wine. Atmosphere is great. Good place to go especially if your are looking for delicious small eats to pair with some great beer or wine. They have about 18 or so craft on draft and even more bottles to choose from. Wine list is also big but not enticing, covering all bases and has something most every one can enjoy. Surprisingly their prices are also great considering they have fast friendly service and delicious fresh food.

Wine list is not very tempting but they have a nice selection of microbrewery beers. Carmen is a professional conversationalist, and although I didn't stay for food... I've heard from a reliable source that it is excellent. This is a great place to nibble, drink, and make new friends.

Came here from Philadelphia while visiting friends. The service was amazing! The girls bent over backwards and made us feel at home. The food was absolutely amazing! Please come to Philly and open up this jem for me! Please try!!

Must. Have. 13 | even. It's awesome. Food. Service. Ambiance. The owners are attentive to every detail and make this an overall great place for chilling with friends, grabbing a bite or people watching folks walking by on Wilton Drive. Plates are small and shareable so get a bunch and pass them around! Try one of each!

Great food. Amazing customer service. Decent prices. The dessert shots are fantastic. My friend and I plan to return another time during happy hour.

I may not be in the target demographic, but I do love Wilton Manors. So when I spotted a new restaurant on Yelp, I instantly bookmarked it and made a mental note to give it a try. Since one of my friends visited me from out of town this week, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try something new. I started with the Orange Blossom Pilsner, and we ordered two plates to start: the Go Mediterranean and Baked Goat Cheese. Oh my goodness. Just phenomenal. The Mediterranean plate had homemade hummus, stuffed grape leaves, crispy flatbread and small skewers of feta, kalamata olives, tomato and cucumber. This plate was devoured rather quickly :) And the baked goat cheese was to die for - warm cheese in a mini iron skillet, topped with a thick layer of an apricot, peppadew and pickled jalapeno glaze. This was the star of the show... it definitely had a kick to it, but it wasn't fiery hot. When we ran out of the crostinis that it comes with, we resorted to just eating the rest with a spoon since we didn't want any to go to waste. For our second round, we split the mac and cheese (and added bacon, requesting for it to be really crispy), while I ordered the beef empanadas and she chose the barbecue chicken flatbread. The mac and cheese was different - I don't know that I've ever had the dish where cheddar wasn't an ingredient. Instead, it's made with brie, gruyere and parmesean, and topped with panko breadcrumbs. I liked it, but I'm glad she and I split it because I never could've finished the whole thing myself. My empanadas were a little bit of a let-down. I prefer they have a bit of spice, and these didn't. I only ate one (each order comes with two) and took the other to go. I did try a piece of my friend's flatbread and enjoyed it, but that was a LOT of food for two girls. We both left feeling stuffed and quite happy with our decision. It was a bit pricey, since lots of tapas orders adds up fairly quickly, but definitely worth it. I really hope they do well!

Great little place! Also, a very cute date place. For HH they have a couple selections of $5 glasses of wine and $5 flat breads! HH ends at 7 pm. We ordered a bunch of appies to share which I would highly suggest. I ordered the goat cheese and bacon flat bread and it was LOADED with bacon which was awesome. Also tried the empanadas which was delicious, Bruschetta with toast my least favorite but still OK, and the arugula/prosciutto/shaved Parmesan which I would also suggest ordering :). I would totally go back especially for HH!

We really enjoy this spot. Tucked away. Great wines and beers and the opportunity to try multiple items without breaking the bank. Goat cheese and apricot with Crostini a must. Hate to spill the beans Cuz it is perfect right now. Hubby and I drive quite aways to enjoy 13 even!

Another great option in the neighborhood. Thursday night, table for 2, 8 pm. Most tables were full, bar was empty. Ordered the cheese plate and a glass or Chardonnay. Nice. Spicy shrimp was more like guacamole. Pork belly with watermelon was good but salty. Nice and crispy; great flavors. Standout was the skirt steak. Tender and flavorful. Super friendly service. Prices reasonable. I'll be back.

I am totally a fan! The vibe, the owners, the staff, even the patrons were top notch. As a visitor to Ft. Lauderdale, I have exactly four chances (on my short business trip) to pick some of the best places for dining out. Let me just say that this is rather a tough contender, and will be difficult to top! In any event, the meal was fantastic. The rinsed oysters were not to my liking (being a purist, I prefer them unrinsed, and they were incredibly kind as to take them off the tab). The pork belly with watermelon and feta - what a nice combination! The astringent of the watermelon with the pique of the feta and the umami of the pork belly were a surprisingly delightful combination. Next was the spicy prawns on crostini with a piquant condiment with capers. They must have read my mind, because I am a caper and anchovy fiend. Great dish, spicy without being too much so, and light yet still providing a good dish. Next were the spinach empanadas from Miami - currently living in California, I have had my share of empanadas, even having made some myself. But these, baked instead of fried, were absolutely delightful. Full, flavorful, and light, just the way an empanadas should be. I had a glass of rose champagne to start, Bouvet, I believe, and four wines in a tasting set. A tempranillo, a malbec blend, a baby super tuscan, and a cab. The tempranillo was so-so, but the rest were good, and the cab from Roth was really quite inspiring. Four small glasses for $15. Try and beat that anywhere else! Anyhow, get yourself here and enjoy the great food and wonderful vibe. You won't be disappointed.

Tonight was my first visit here and I see why it gets all great reviews. It is a wonderful neighborhood place. I loved the vibe of it and the friendly nature of the patrons. The servers/bartenders are amazing - friendly, efficient, and just overall fantastic. 3 of us shared a couple small dishes. We had the pear/bleu cheese salad and it was no problem at all that I wanted to substitute the bleu cheese for another kind of cheese - my server was very accommodating with that. The salad was delicious! It was tossed with a light balsamic dressing and had pears and candied pecans on it - very tasty. We also had a delicious cheese plate. This was plenty for 3 people to share. The presentation was very nice. Then we also had the caprice salad - it was smaller, but enough for 2 to share if you get something else. Everything was unique and good. The place is very, very clean with a welcoming and casual decor! It was a fun night to just relax here with friends and enjoy the place; before we realized it, we had been there for 3 hours. I loved it!

Very pleasant place, extremely good staff, great beers. Prices are amazingly good. I had the most expensive thing on the menu...the cheese plate at 13 bucks and it was fantastic!

My friend and I checked out this place a couple of weeks ago. The service was great and the food had a lil twist. We tried the skirt steak, empanadas, cheese & crackers and salad. Everything was good and you can get full on 2-3 lil portions. The desserts were a lil lackluster, they are not made in house and you can tell but other than that no complaints. P.S. There is a great ice cream shop a couple of stores over...

I had an excellent experience last night at 13 Even! I don't frequent the Manors, but when I do it's usually to check out something new and interesting and the lovely ladies at 13 Even did not disappoint. My boyfriend had a couple of craft beers from the extensive menu and I started with the wine sampler and settled on a delicious glass of unoaked Chardonnay after. I was impressed that the set price for the sampler ($15) included any wines on the menu making it an affordable way to choose some pricey wines that I wouldn't normally order in a restaurant. I followed a few of the pairing suggestions on the menu (nice touch!) and was pleased with their suggestions. We started with the Watermelon and Pork Belly Salad (what an intense, unsurpassed flavor explosion in my mouth...I love that the Watermelon was infused with Mint that gave everything a really clean finish) and the baked goat cheese--loved the peppadew jam on top. We also sampled the skirt steak, which was perfectly prepared to my specifications, the BBQ Chicken Flatbread (deliciously spicy), and the pear and bleu cheese salad (covered in the most buttery, delicious candied nuts and maple infused pears). I couldn't even tell you what my favorite was because all of the small plates were equally delicious in their own right. The service was also really good. I loved the decor and loved even more that the owners listed the websites everything was purchased from in the event I'd like to look it up. Great light fixtures and even more interesting photography on the wall. While it was a Sunday evening around 8 pm that we sat down, the small venue was pretty packed. I'd definitely visit again. Seems like a great place for a date or a small group (less than 4) as the seating is limited.

Late decision to make this my bday stop - - so glad!!! nice (and affordable) wine and craft beer selection and menu has something for all. Their special of the day - goat cheese w/ pork belly quesadilla was fantastic. Also ordered salmon flatbread and shrimp/avocado app was delish and the death by chocolate mini dessert. But more importantly, the service and friendliness of David and Carol... thank you! See you again soon :-)

Outstanding service very friendly but not intrusive! I am still thinking about my Pinot Noir really good with good pricing. Food was really good as well had a varied sample all well done. One star less for decor which was the only thing I could think about as a negative I would call the seating sturdy which should not keep you away. As noted in another review 13/Even is extremely clean - how nice to see a restroom that looked unused!

Last visit was average. Service slow on a dead Saturday night. Food lukewarm, bland. When the owner is not there....it will not succeed. No one cares for your business like you do.

I am surprised this place got 4.5 stars. We tried most of the tapas there and they where ok. We tried the oysters and we where not impressed by the quality. Overall this place was ok.

A nice small bar right in Wilton Mannors, great snacks and tapas. There are lots and lots of wine. Try the pizza , just great with red wine. The restroom is real neat and very interesting. Lots of street parking and across the street park in city hall parking lot it is free until 6pm.

Good place to eat. They have small plates, so everyone can share and you can try almost the whole menu with a party of 4. My only qualm is that a lot of their tapas have some kind of bread or toast and the most common ingredient is pork and cheese. I feel like they need to add more variety especially with vegetables and other types of meats or seafood ingredients. The strongest plate was the baked goat cheese. Very flavorful. The weakest plate was the zesty shrimp. Nothing zesty about it. I was expecting tossed shrimp with fresh mint leaves, cubed avocado and a tangy dressing. But instead we got something more akin to guacamole. They have a good selection of beer and wine, with Good Juju being my favorite. Side note, very uncomfortable chairs and small tables. Besides that, it's a pretty decent place. But since their menu is limited and the dishes are not out of this world, I don't see myself returning. It was a good one-time experience.

Oh, my, wow. The food here was amazing. My favorite was the pork belly with watermelon. The staff is great, service is great, food.....great.....love it! I want to try everything on the menu!

I finally made it down to 13 Even for my sisters birthday and we couldn't have had a better time! I have sampled their food before at Yelp events but I have never been to the actual restaurant until recently. I am usually the one who is in charge of picking the restaurants and my two sisters can be very picky. I thought 13 Even would be perfect because it's a tapas restaurant and we could order several things off of the menu to satisfy everyone's pallet. My plan worked out perfectly! We ended up ordering a ton of food and a couple of beer flights each and had an amazing night!! Service was spot on and our server was super friendly and even brought out a candle in the dessert for my sister which was super nice! FOOD The tapas plates were priced reasonably so you don't have to break the bank to come here and order several items. Plates are priced between $6-$12 which is a steal compared to other tapas places. Here is what we ordered for the 3 of us to share. - Prosciutto, arugula and grape tomato flat bread - This was really good and crispy which I like. - Chicken and Beef Empanadas - Delicious! (2 per order) - Skirt Steak in a teriyaki marinade - Hands down this was the best thing we had all night! Full of flavor and the meat was so tender! - Mac & Cheese - Sadly this was the only disappointment of the night. The flavor just wasn't there and the pasta was very dry there wasn't a lot of cheese. Plus it was a white cheddar type cheese and none of us really enjoyed it. This is the only reason I am holding back the 5th star. - Spinach and Cheese stuffed Portabella Mushroom - LOVED IT!!! - Go Mediterranean - This plate consists of house made hummus, stuffed grape leaves and tiny skewers of cucumber, feta, tomato and olive. Such a cute plate and so good!! I could have eaten all of this by myself!!! - Oysters - These we all mine since my sisters cannot stomach raw anything LOL! They were huge and very fresh, I enjoyed them a lot. Overall the food is A+!! The vibe is very laid back and friendly, I will be back for sure soon to take advantage of their awesome happy hour!!

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Sunday night after reading the positive reviews. Overall, the food was good but not 4-5 star good. The pork belly and watermelon salad and empanadas were among the items we ordered. We were disappointed with the dessert shots due to lack of freshness. The server was kind and attentive (5 stars) and the ambiance was quaint.

If your bar hopping on The Drive and get hungry for a very small bite this is acceptable. The very small portions were nicely presented and tasted ok. If you are looking for dinner portions go elsewhere because it would take at least 8 tapas to equal a dinner portion and set you back $60.00 without alcohol. For that price there are many destination and special occasion places that will fit that bill.

I love their wine and beer list. I always try something new and am never disappointed. The staff is friendly. I wish they would come out with a new menu. I've had everything on it already. They have a selection of Tapas, flatbreads etc. their special of the day is worth asking about.

Excellent! Service was fantastic - attentive and friendly. We ordered a variety of tapas for the table and enjoyed everything. The empanadas are killer, and so is the "zesty lime shrimp & avocado." Impressively deep beer and wine list. Maybe a little on the loud side, but that's the nature of the beast for such a small room, and it did not diminish the overall experience. Great find!!

This place had been on my list for quite some time because a fellow yelper clued me in at a CMYE! I'm glad I listened! A girlfriend and I decided on a whim to pop in to this place on a friday evening for dinner. When we walked in, we grabbed a menu to check out the options. The space is sparsely decorated, but it was decently busy. The music was a bit on the loud side (happy hour was just wrapping up), so we asked to sit at one of the two 2-person high tops available outside on the sidewalk. In hindsight, I wish it had been a little quieter so we could eat inside because as our meal progressed, the mosquitoes had a meal of their own! Our server greeted us, offered us water, and explained that the plates were designed for sharing. He gave us a chance to look over the menu while he went to get our water. We started with the beverage menu, which was very extensive. They have a staple of beers, plus rotating drafts as well. I opted for a flight of 4 beers and really enjoyed the variety. My friend went with a glass of wine. The prices were pretty reasonable, even on the lower side of things. Since the plates were to share, we decided to get the mac and cheese (with the bacon, of course), the prosciutto, arugula, and grape tomato flat bread, and the baked goat cheese. My least favorite was the flatbread. Though all those ingredients generally have tons of flavor, everything just tasted salty. The arugula lacked any of its trademark pepperiness, the prosciutto just tasted like salt, and, though the dish would have benefited from the flavor of the tomato, there wasn't a tomato to be found! Bummer! Next up, the mac and cheese. This was good, but not amazing. The pasta was cooked nicely, and I enjoyed the cheese. But the bacon was the wrong type (yes, that's possible). The bacon that came with the mac and cheese was very thin and a little too crispy. I would have preferred a thicker cut bacon. It would have been a better texture match for the mac and cheese. The baked goat cheese, however. OH. MY. G0D! SO GOOD! It's deliciously creamy and there is a ton of it. It's coated in this perfect little pepper jelly and served with a pile of toasted bread. The pepper jelly complements the sweetness of the goat cheese. Our waiter even brought out more bread when he saw we would need it to clean the plate. We would have stayed for dessert, but decided to head out because we were being eaten alive by the mosquitoes. I will definitely go back and try some of the other items on the menu. But I will ALWAYS get that baked goat cheese.

Great little place on Wilton Drive. The oysters were fresh and the baked goat cheese was big and rich. Mac and cheese was ok - wanted to have more flavor. The skirt steak was awesome. Good selection of beer and wine. The desserts, carrot cake and orange chocolate mousse were great too. Excellent service by a fun and friendly staff.

I liked this place very much. They have a decent wine selection and a great beer selection (all micro brews, which is a plus). The menu items are tapas style, so you will probably need to order a bunch of them since they are relatively small. We went with the empanadas, baked goat cheese, mac and cheese, chicken and gouda flatbread, and the skirt steak. Everything was awesome, but I particularly liked the mac and cheese and the skirt steak. The cost was a little on the high side, though. Our bill was about $85, without tip. In addition to the food above, I had two glasses of wine and my wife had a wine flight (4 small glasses). I would definitely come back, but probably when I was less hungry since the bill will add up if you are trying to make a meal out of it. They also have a happy hour with $5 glasses of wine/beer and flatbreads. That is probably the best time to visit. Overall, the people are nice, food is great, and the beverage selection was terrific, a winner in my book for sure.

Happy hour til 7. It was not busy at 6pm when we arrived. It did not fill up til 7:30pm. We ordered the caramelized onion/bacon/goat cheese flatbread (HH $5) , beef and chicken empanadas, and smoked salmon flatbread. All items were great, but the caramelized flatbread was my favorite. Well worth the $8 regular price, but even better at $5 for HH. The empanadas are stamped in the dough with chicken or beef. Our waiter, David, took great care of us. Parking is available on the street or in the city parking lot. All areas are metered. There are many items on the menu that I want to try. We will definetly be returning.

It was decent. The lady and I tried out three of their meals. Tapas style. Great cheap beer and wine selection. Very affordable, just not revolutionary. Anna said it best, she didn't feel like any of it was something she couldn't of made at home. I'd go back with friends for sure.

This place is excellent. My table has the pork belly and watermelon, steak, cheese please and bacon flatbread. All of the food was perfect, properly cooked, flavorful and well presented. The drinks were fantastic. Great selection of beers and we had a very patient server who was happy to have us try them until we found the right one. My friends and I will definitely be returning to this place.

Went back for round 2 of the delicious menu at 13 even, man I love this place!!! This time I was with some friends and sat at a table, one of the owner came out from behind the bar, greeted us (she was friends with one of my guests), she did not get a server, no she took our order personally and not only took the order but delivered it herself! I have nothing but respect for someone who owns a business and is still hands on in the trenches taking care of customers. I recommend trying the skirt steak, the empanadas, and the BBQ chicken flat bread. All were amazing!!!

A great place for delicious food and happy hour. We had several courses of food and all of it was amazing! Bruschetta, empanadas, flatbread, stuffed portobello, oysters, and a panini. The service was excellent and very friendly, in addition the chef was kind enough to seat us and created a wonderful shrimp special. The atmosphere is comfortable and I will definitely visit again.

Not my first time here, but my first review. This is a tapa's place and a good place to go with a small group of friends (its not really big enough for a really large group). Very diverse crowd with good energy, but it can also get loud. Shared 4-5 dishes with my friend, including the shrimp/avocado, stuffed Portobello, skirt steak, a special with pork and avocado on French bread. All were really good and was enough to fill us up without breaking the bank. They have a good wine list and are reasonably priced. The tapas are also not ridiculously priced like you can see at some places. My only disappointment was the dessert. We split a peanut butter chocolate thing and while it was good, it needed to be at room temperature, it was cold and hard to get out of the small dish (they do shot type glasses, like you find at Seasons 52). Overall, good service, attentive, but not pushy. Its a great neighborhood place to go to on most any night out. PS: I should add, that I wish that the low chairs that they have were a bit more comfortable. They are wood with no give and are a bit uncomfortable after sitting for awhile.

I have visited this place several times since my first visit last year. I love it! Everything I have tried has been delish. The owners and the staff are very friendly. Plus they got zero violations from the health department during last inspection. Can't ask for more, reasonably priced, friendly, delicious and clean.

Everything I had here was delicious. We sat at the bar and service was friendly. We had watermelon salad with pork belly, a flat bread and empanadas. We were impressed. The food was really good, the service was amazing, loved the wines and the atmosphere was great. LOVE how they reuse wood, wine casks and other materials for the decor. Living in Asheville, we have pretty high standards for great food and service but they did not dissapoint.

Great food and atmosphere. We had the empanadas for an appetizer, then the skirt steak and the special of the night (Asian flatbread). Everything was delicious. The owner, Carol is a super nice. I will definitely return. The happy hour specials are out of this world too.

Another one of the tiny, open-air places located right along Wilton Drive that serves up great food and drinks. 13 Even is a tapas-style pub that features quite a selection of craft beers and a fairly large wine list, as well. (I don't drink beer, but my friends who like beer tell me that the craft beer selection is very thoughtful.) Last time I was there, me and my friend shared a pork belly and watermelon salad and a pear and blue cheese salad. Both were terrific. And he also had a soup-of-the-day special, which I think was a rustic sweet potato soup or a harvest butternut squash soup of some kind. I tried a bite or two and it was really hearty and very filling. Our waiter recommended a red wine for us (after a lot of questioning from my friend) and it was a great compliment to our meal. Always nice to get really good wine advice when you need it. And speaking only for myself, I generally need it. We were at 13 Even on a Monday night and there were only a couple of other tables with guests. But it's much busier on other nights of the week. And it is a pretty small place, so it can completely fill-up quickly. Already looking forward to going back.

A new favorite! The wine and food were just right. Although parking can be quite challenging, it is certainly worth the trip! We will certainly be coming back for more! The chef came out to greet us and inquired about our evening so far. This is certainly unusual for south Florida, and a treasure in itself. I recommend the shrimp and avocado light tapa, the skirt steak, as well as the stuffed portobello mushroom and special of mushroom ravioli. We will be back soon!

This place is great! I found this spot a few months back when I was looking for late night noms (they are open until 1 am on Friday and Saturday). I honestly haven't had a bad experience at this place. Staff is friendly, food is great and the ambiance is laid back. They have a decent selection of wine and beers. Great place if you're in the mood for tapas.

Wow!!! Every time I eat here I ask myself why I don't come here more often. The food is served tapas style as small plates meant to be shared. Every thing on the menu that I have tried has been wonderful. The ambience is fun and funky. The tables are made from used shipping pallets. Photographs by one of the owners grace the walls. While not quiet this place is not noisy like the modern style of restaurant. The service is sound. The wine list, while not extensive, has something for every taste; and, best of all, almost every wine on the list is priced under $40. This is my kind of place!!!

Came here for a very early dinner (5:30pm) with a friend who was in town. The place was empty, which was to be expected, but didn't detract from our evening at all. When I arrived my friend had already ordered a beer flight -($6 btw which is awesome). She showed me how the bartender had written each beer name on the serving plate, which was a nice touch and pushed me to get a wine flight. I had the option to choose 4 wines, but opted to let her pick something for me. Her selections were great and it was a great start to the evening. We opted to order 5 tapas - probably a little bit too much for two skinny girls, but we like food ;). The watermelon and pork belly salad came out first, along with our cheese plate and salmon tostada. Everything was really good and complimented my wine well. Next up our hot items came out - the mac and cheese (we added bacon) and two empanadas. Not sure if the empanadas were extra good, or if it was the dipping sauce that came with them, but that was probably my favorite of the evening. The mac and cheese was great too and I was happy to have some carbs to really soak up the wine. Overall the atmosphere was great. My friend loved how the menu took the attention to detail to mention where the furniture and other items were obtained (various Etsy shops) and the service was attentive yet not overwhelming. I found the place rather cold, and didn't see nor sit on any itchy potato sacks, so I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about. The best part for me was the prices - I love tapas style places because you get to try a variety of things for cheap, but 13 even seemed to be even a few dollars cheaper than other tapas places I've been to!

Happy hour is a great bargain. Beer and wine is delicious and the food and service is terrific. Very comfortable seating. Watermelon and porkbelly salad is terrific. I'd probably skip mac and cheese. It was good, but there's better right next door. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

G-d I love the restaurants in Wilton manors I normally despise tapas restaurants and was worried when it wasn't crowded on a wed night. However, it was all for naught -our waitress-Kim I think was attentive without being pushy. Great beer and wine list so Extensive not sure if they had hard liquor though they prob did cause there was a bar there. We had amazing chickens fb beef empanadas, perfectly cooked soft skirt steak, great goat cheese ad jalapeños and a onion flatbread (does it make it fancier if you call It flatbread instead of pizza?) the only thing I didn't like was the lime avocado shrimp Dish was bland. But experience food and atmosphere was almost perfect will def be back.

Combination of bar and tapas that works out very well. Had the pork belly and watermelon salad, empanadas, steak, and brussel sprouts with bacon. Everything was great except the sprouts were a bit mushy indicating they had been overcooked. Staff was on point and the interior is a pleasent intimate vibe. Happy hour looks amazing with $2.5 drafts.

Updating my review as I've now eaten here many times with many different people. Food never disappoints. Service is always attentive. Stop by during Happy Hour for great deals on beer, wine, empanadas and flat breads.

This is my first review on yelp. We (wife and I) are constantly and frequently visiting new restaurants trying to find the best things available to munch on and drink!! This location prompted me to finally write a review, why you may ask? The restaurant has such high rankings by everyone -- DON'T GET IT. This is the first time that I have felt led astray by Yelp. I typically have great experiences with yelp and overall ratings. PROS: - Good drinks available - and by that I mean craft beer. Wine is okay. - Very friendly staff, owner is very nice. - Pricing is decent. CONS: I'm not quite sure where these 4 and 5 star reviews are coming from. - The mac and cheese was literally boiled pasta with cheese melted on top. - The skirt/flank steak was very gummy and not good at all. Portions were alright. Again, this place is good if you want to have a drink and just some food to help fill your stomach. It's nowhere near a 4 or 5 star as many reviewers have listed. If you want good, go somewhere else.

Whoa food is freaking amaze and the service is on point. Friendly, attentive and just great service. Pork belly and watermelon salad is best combination ever and empanadas are to die for. Moscato is my drink of choice I have found another brand to buy. Thanks 13/even

Well since I have been here 5 times I can write a review. Consistent Food, Great Happy Hour - (All the flatbreads are amazing) - Creative Tapas Style dining. All amongst a friendly local environment. The staff is friendly and it is nice to see a hands on owner that walks around and greets guests and ensures that everyone is well attended too! They have a great Sauv Blanc as well from New Zealand - ! Great assortment of Beers from all around the world. Cheers to some small eateries on the Drive that have substance and creativity!

Great place! Service is nice and friendly, 5 stars for service. Food is good, but not exceptional, it lacks the little spark that makes it a place to go for food. But I will go back for the very pleasant overall experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed every dish we had. Four of us shared 8 different dishes. Unique and delicious, and all four of us left the restaurant feeling stuffed! Our favorite dishes were: Mac and cheese with bacon; flatbread with bacon, carmelized onion and goat cheese; skirt steak; watermelon and crispy pork belly; avocado and lime shrimp. With a surprising beers election. This restaurant is clearly one of our new favorites.

Possibly I'm the first Yelpite to visit this new boy, or in keeping politically correct I should probably say gay, lesbian, bi, transgender establishment on the block. Whatever, I found the crowd to be extraordinarily mixed with a total diversity that I personally liked. It's clearly an establishment catering not just to a singular type or group but to an "ALL" inclusive community. It even has a prominent sign posted to that effect (see my pictures). I found the crowd, and it was packed, not just cordially friendly but actually friendly with a degree of warmth rarely found on the "Drive" of what some have come to call "Wilting Manors." It's certainly refreshing to get away from that exclusivity of so many area bars being only gay, only lesbian, only straight but never mixed. Since several of the patrons recognized me as being one of their own, though one mistook me as a lesbian....must have been my long hair and though I have no pelvic certification of proof, I'm not.... however it gave everyone a good laugh including me. Luckily several joined in to give me some bites from their various food dishes. To my surprise, especially considering the fact that they have only been open for one week, I found everything I sampled to be particularly tasty, even their Mac & Cheese, which is a dish I generally consider less culinarily challenging or flavorful than would be Alpo on rye. It's really refreshing, a sort of clean breath of fresh air to see a place like this come along on the drive. Though the "Drive" has always had diversity, it's generally been a somewhat segregated type of diversity. Right off the bat, I'd love to give them a Four Star, but though I'm generous of heart, I think it's a little too soon for that. After all, we've had so many "flash in the pan" opening and closing operations along this stretch of road I'd prefer to be cautious, even if overly so with any of my recommendations and opinions.

Wanted to share my experience because I must say it was great! Went for a bachelor party and reservations were made in advance. We had a nice table set up and as soon as we sat down the tapas started flowing. Everything was good. We had a variety of different things all come out at once and each thing that came out got even better! The service was amazing (Tyrone and Danny). It was a pleasant dinning experience and I just wanted to say thank you.

Food was delicious!! Had the best skirt steak and Mac & cheese with bacon! Pear and Gorgonzola salad was amazing! The bartender/server was a doll and suggested a really fantastic wine to pair with out food. He also gave us a little taste of a few to choose. The overall experience was delightful!! Definitely heading back soon!! Top notch little gem in Wilton manors!

Dined here twice while on vacation and I have to say I was impressed! The owners are friendly and got to chat about motorcycles, wine and food! The flatbreads are amazing, empanadas great, and their happy hour is a good value too. Highly recommend this place!

Lunch. On a Wednesday it was nice and quiet....oh, and yes..happy hour of course! I sat at the bar and had a Funky Buddha beer for $2.50 and looked over the appetizers/flatbreads that were on happy hour. Not much to choose from, BUT you can't beat $5 flatbreads. Checking out the menu it seemed to be tapas style, which is nice if you're eating with people who like to share...if you have hungry hippos perhaps not. The reason I give a 3 star is because I feel I came when the personality was just getting ready to wake up. It definitely is a spot I would grab a beer and chat...there are some other places to bounce around after so that's always a win. I'll try to come back one evening to see the scene.

Service - 4 Food - 3 Atmosphere - 3 Visited this spot while on vacation and sadly, with high expectations. The service was a bit chaotic - one bartender basically serving the bar and entire restaurant. The food was meh - nothing really stood out to me as something to remember. The atmosphere was off - a mix of alternative and 80's rock didn't really fit the relaxed vibe that you would expect from a "tapas" bar. Would not recommend this spot... :(

Great happy hour for gathering with friends. We got together with two other couples for happy hour and ordered up all 4 varieties of the $5 flatbreads, spinach, beef, and chicken empanadas, a baked goat cheese, and the skirt steak. Everything was delish. The smoked salmon toastada and prosciutto, arugula & tomato were fresh and light. I would think of them as a perfect brunch flatbread. The BBQ chicken gouda and bacon, onion & goat cheese were more savory but enjoyed by all. Two right menu highlights are the baked goat cheese with the peppadew/jalapeno glaze. It's a nice kick to the goat cheese. The skirt steak is probably their post popular item, but with good reason. It is well seasoned, a bit sweet from the teriyaki, and perfectly cooked to remain tender and juicy! Together with $5 wine options and $2.5 beer options - this place can't be beat for happy hour in the Manors!

This was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time! We stopped in early and were happy to see a great happy hour $5.00 empanadas and flatbreads. Everything was so amazing we left with 3 full doggie bags. We ordered the Goat cheese with apricot and jalapeno jam, Flat Bread with Bacon and Goat Cheese, Mac and Cheese. Every bite was just so amazing. The waiter (Daniel, I think) was so knowledgeable and just a pleasure. We were so impressed we took home the Smoked Salmon flatbread, Stuffed Mushroom, Apple Dessert Shooter and the Empanadas. We shared it with the family when we got home and we could hardly even pick a favorite. We will be back and I highly recommend you give this place a try you will be thrilled !!

We love Carol and the staff of "13 even" Great tapas wines and company. But if you're looking for something a little different try Carol's newest restaurant "13" just down the street on Wilton drive, offers an eclectic Southern cuisine that will knock your socks off! and their Sunday brunch is awesome ( try the fried green tomatoes....yummy)! just make sure that you get the pickled okra in your bloody Mary at not a pickled jalapeño! Oooooh weeee that was hot!

My girlfriend and I loved our meal and time spent here!! This place had come highly recommended by the locals, as we made our way through our vacation. We had an amazingly, romantic meal and cold drinks. The oysters, skirt steak and beer were all beyond satisfactory! We were able to meet and talk with both owners and a local friend of theirs. They were all very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. We, now, highly recommend the business and the friends we made:). Thank you to Carol, Nancy and the staff for such a warm welcome and great memory, as I was able to bring it home with us...one of their 13lE beer glasses:)! It's places like this that make our experience and time near Ft. Lauderdale worth returning for. "Welcome all...You're Home."

This place is a winning combination of great food and great service! The food is tapas style which allows you to try a few of their delicious treats. Bartenders and waitstaff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their selection of beers and ales. The waiter recommended a beer called schofferhofer, a light beer with a hint of grapefruit. Delicious!! Great food, great service, casual atmosphere Can't go wrong with 13/even!

I'm definitely a fan of this place. My boyfriend and I were searching for somewhere to go last night on Valentines Day. We stopped by 2 prior restaurants and they were so full and had no parking. I discovered this place on yelp and convinced my boyfriend that this may be our best bet as it is a smaller restaurant that may not have the crazy Valentines Day crowd like all the other main restaurants in the area. Upon arrival, there were several spots at the bar open and we happily took 2 seats. We were greeted right away by smiling faces and given a menu. We ordered 4 tapas: skirt steak, shrimp, chicken barbecue flat bread and empanadas. All of the food was AMAZING!! I had some wine, my boyfriend had 4 different beers which he actually enjoyed ( he is very particular with beer). We were here for 2 hours and met some very friendly customers and staff. 13 Even has only been open for 9 months but you would never know based on how knowledgeable the staff was on the beer/wine selection. We met 2 of the owners and they were super friendly. It's very rare to find a restaurant that offers amazing product/service and does it with a smile. The service down here in South Florida is a joke and I have learned not to expect much when it comes to service. It's truly refreshing to find a place like this. We will definitely be coming back based on how positive our first experience was. This restaurant is quite smaller then most however, its cozy and I dont think the size is a problem for whey there are offering. 13 Even offers more of an experience than just food and drinks. They allow you to sample different wine/beers so that you have the opportunity to taste a wine or beer you have not tried before. They were also offering desserts in tall shot glasses made locally (similar to what seasons 52 offers on their dessert menu). I didn't try any but am looking forward to coming back and trying them. Keep up the great work guys and gals! We will be back.

The menu has decently priced tapas choices. We ordered the Mediterranean plate, Stuffed grape leaves, Prosciutto havarti and pear panini, and the caramelized onion and goat cheese flatbread. My favorite was the Mediterranean plate and the onion and goat cheese flat bread. So good! The atmosphere was cozy and decor was nice. The one thing I didn't like was having a giant flat screen tv hovering over our heads. I think any good restaurant can do without a TV in it. It was a slow night wen we went so the service was fantastic and friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartender knew all about the menu and was able to guide us along. She had knowledge of all of the craft beers served there too, so if you're not sure what to get, don't be shy! The bartender will gladly help you out. Definitely stop by here some time. Try new things! You can't go wrong at this place. Parking is street level pay to park only. There's an app for the meters so you don't have to worry about pumping quarters into the machines every two hours.

'Tis a hard state -- Florida, that is (Fort Lauderdale, to be exact) -- to find decent craft beer pubs/eateries. Riverside Market is one such place (although it's not in the most convenient locale for me); I hear Laser Wolf is another highly recommended joint, but I haven't been there yet. So we stumbled upon this newly-opened pub/tapas bar on Wilton Drive, saw the words "craft beers," and was lured like Ulysses by the Sirens. (And, too, with such an ironically dichotomic moniker, "13|Even" (yes, there's a slash in there!), my propensity for such curio couldn't be contained....) 13|Even is a pretty straightforward pub: dark interior, "with-it" look (after all, this is Wilton Drive!), L-shaped bar for pulling up a stool and having your nose in the grind of things, as well as several tables (and I thought I saw a banquet) for more intimate gatherings. Noise level was definitely on the loud side, but at least there was no cigarette smoke hanging like a stagnant fog in the air. We took a couple of seats at the bar, and was greeted by super-friendly barkeep, Carmen -- a gal who's smile would even make the world-weary hopeful...! Being newbies, she gave us a rundown of the extensive menu of beers and wines, the various hot and cold tapas, and a bit of chit-chat to give us a welcomed feeling. Naturally, for us, this place is all about the craft beers, and their selection was tight and (overall) unique. (Bravo, I say, to a bar that doesn't serve Bud or Miller on-tap!!!) I started with a splendid, icy-cold Left-Hand Milk Stout (dark and rich) that definitely hit-the-spot on a warm evening; my best bud had the Saison. Doing the tapas-thang, we chose to start with a four-some that included the zesty lime shrimp and avocado salad ($7), patatas bravas ($5), grilled skirt steak ($8), and empanadas (uno pollo; uno bistec; $6). I'll say right off-the-bat, behind those black shuttered doors, Chef Paige (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was conjuring up juju like crazy! For me, the best was the shrimp/avo salad and the perfectly tenderized skirt steak. Empanadas were mighty tasty, too; however, the empanadas are made off-site by a woman in Miami. The round two bell rang, and I went with a draft Dogfish IPA. For the second round of tapas, we went with the 3-cheese spinach stuffed portabella ($7), and a half-dozen oysters ($9). Portabella was cheesy and moist; oysters were fresh and plump. Another Milk Stout and a petite key-lime cheese cake dessert put a final exclamation point on this fine evening of imbibing and gastronomy. And, too, the owner, Nancy -- who, along with her partner, Carol, also own/run New Moon bar -- spent a good deal of time mingling with the patrons and getting to know us, as well. Nancy is a fantastic boniface! To wrap-up this review, I may be going overboard with the 5-star rating (esp. since it was our first visit); nevertheless, five stars is what I'm gonna give this new kid on the block, and will definitely follow-up with an update real soon.... For a change, "13" emphatically eschews anything having to do with bad luck...! :D

Man, I hate it when I am in the Yelp "minority". Good things: great beer and wine selection, fantastic pricing on wines, dedicated staff and ownership. We had the Concammon red blend- seriously good. However, my food was AVERAGE at best. Not terrible, but just average. Skirt steak was tasty but overdone for my taste, and the pork belly was dry/overdone as well. My fiance liked her stuffed portobello. If this was just a wine and beer joint, it would sneak up on 5 stars. But I was unimpressed, at best, with the food. We will go back for the wine and beer, and I'll give the food another shot.

One of my favorites on the drive. Awesome beer selection and happy hour featuring $2.50 drafts of beer, magic hat right now, and $5 flatbreads not to be missed. The owner Carol goes out of her way to make the place feel like its your "spot" and Carmen, her smile is electric and is only surpassed by her excellent service.

Last night we were looking for small bites and a decent glass of wine, what we found was so much more! I really need to venture over to Wilton Manors more often. 13 Even was warm and inviting and the service attentive. The wine list was eclectic and one of the owners, Carol, was happy to offer a taste of a red blend that piqued my interest. I'm having fun exploring big red blends as of late and the Cannondale Crimson & Clover was so tasty! We ordered half a dozen oysters and the Zesty Lime, Shrimp, & Avocado Salad. Both were great, but the real kicker was the Pork Belly & Watermelon Salad. Holy sh*t. Seriously?! Something I should probably share with you at this point, is my obsession with bacon. I don't care if it is trendy now to love pork products, I have listed bacon as my favorite food since I was knee high to a June bug. It truly makes EVERYTHING BETTER...but, I digress. This freaking salad, was so phenomenal that my cheeks hurt from the ginormous, moronic smile that took over my face. Yes, it is THAT good. So good in fact, that I'm thinking of going back again tonight. Damn it. I'm going to spend the rest of my day fantasizing about that salad now.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The seating was very uncomfortable. They have some chairs covered with potato sacks and since I was wearing shorts, it was very itchy. My other big issue was that it was VERY hot inside the restaurant. Everyone at our table was sweating. The only redeeming factor was the great service! The staff was amazing!!! If they can fix the chairs and their air, I will go back again. Maybe I didn't really enjoy the food because I was very uncomfortable, who knows!

13 Even does many things well. There service is friendly and attentive, well trained on the menu and beers & wines they offer. The menu is well thought out, and while not extensive it has range and interest. The wines and beers I referred to moments ago make up a nice selection that has some pleasant surprises, especially on the hops side. And the ambiance is pleasant and relaxed, suited for a casual evening out. Where 13 Even struggles a bit is the size of the place and the layout. It is small and there are few tables in the "main" dining area; the rest of the tables are lined up against the wall opposite the bar. On an evening when the crowds don't descend (if there are any) sitting at one of these tables is probably OK. On any other evening your table is virtually shared with the folks spilling into the aisle between the tables and the bar. I felt badly for the wait staff as they tried to navigate with "please excuse me" and "right behind you" as the patrons ignored them. I'd like to return and enjoy ail that 13 Even has to offer, but I don't want to share my evening with people I don't know leaning on my table. Guess I'm just not that social. My loss, for 13 Even has much to offer.

My husband & I went to dinner here on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar and were impressed with the wine and beer lists (over 40 wines & 40 beers). The food was delicious! We especially enjoyed the Baked Goat Cheese and the Pear Salad. Our service was great. The environment is warm and inviting. As a straight couple we were completely comfortable and will definitely go back! Oh and the prices are reasonable!

Amazing Place! Great Great tasty fresh food, cool decor, great service. I love the that the owners are right there and they prepare the food themselves, its not some mass produced assembly line. The Pork belly and watermelon salad as you may have read is that good! My girlfriends and I love the brunch there, $15 unlimited mimosas. The next time we went back, Nancy remembered us and she is great! We had a birthday brunch with about 15 people and although it is a small place, it was great. Organized, fast, friendly and most importantly, fresh and delicious food. Everyone that was a first timer was wowed. Will absolutely be back, highly recommended!

WOW. I won't be able to say enough about 13|Even. We sat at the bar on a early Sunday evening. I am amazed at he incredible beer selection, both on tap and in bottles. I am super impressed by the fact that Bud and Miller are not even available on tap. The sign states craft beer and wine on the window and they truly deliver. As a former head brewer at an Alaskan brewery, I have a propensity toward the bright, fruity Belgium ales and bold, robust porters and stouts. I started off with the Ommegang Hennepin Saison, followed by a Chimay, and ended with the Left Hand Milk Stout. Needless to say, I am in heaven right now. In the mix of the wonderful ales, I added in the skirt steak, patatas bravas w/Fried Quail egg, zesty lime shrimp and avocado salad, oyster on the half shell, three cheese stuffed portabella, one chicken empanadas and one beef empanadas, ending with the key lime bundt cake. Carmen was our bar keep for the evening, with a beautiful smile and vibrant energy, she made our evening very special. Nancy, one of the owners, added her immense knowledge of the beers that she has on stock. For a truly memorable evening out, stop in and try to find your favorite beer ( or wine, which they have a huge wine list of unique vineyards) and enjoy some incredible tapas at a very reasonable price. Two thumbs up!

Very simply...the place is warm and inviting. I recommend sitting at the bar. The staff is so knowledgeable about the wines and beers that you get a great lesson listening to them explain every glass to others sitting at the bar. I have been her twice. My favorite wines are crusher a light rose (don't knock it till you try it) and concannon, a fruity red blend. I have tried others that I like but these are my favs. On to food, my favs in order are: The Mediterranean, the prosciutto and pear Panini and the bruschetta. I have more to try so I will keep you updated. I will be back soon.

This is a great little place. The staff are incredibly friendly and cheery. The wine list is broad and they offer so many by the glass. Lots of beer choices too. The small plates are inventive and tasty. The watermelon and pork belly salad is amazing. A really nice addition to a corridor filled with bar food and pizza.

"Good juju served here." Couldn't have said it better myself. I took a date here on Friday night. We were greeted warmly by Nancy and Carol, who basically ooze cool. These ladies have brought to Wilton Drive a much-needed alternative to the usual. A fantastic vibe, a great selection of local brews, out-of-this-world comfort food, small plates (more variety to try!), late-night hours and unbeatable service await you at 13 Even. I will do my best to become a regular here. Long live 13 Even!

What a great edition to the "Drive" we were finally able to stop in, and I am so glad we made it! Great and Knowledgeable staff , Really fun mixed crowd, and fantastic Tapas and small plates... and did I mention they have "Oysters on the Half Shell" Unbelievable for a wine bar. Thank you 13 Even for bgining your fare to us! WE will be back again, and again.

Really Good JuJu! I sat at the bar solo. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The owner stopped by and chatted with me about the place and the different dishes and her inspirations. This place is definitely a labor of love. And you can taste that in the food. I had some nice Belgian craft beer that I can't remember. I usually steer clear of Tapas places because my experience with them has been poor. But these small plates weren't very small. I had the Caprese salad which I enjoyed. The pesto was nicely flavored and the balsamic glaze played well with it. I ordered the skirt steak (nice portion, cooked perfectly). I had the empenadas (great flavor, great dipping sauce). This was more than enough food. I wanted to try the pork belly/watermelon thing, and the mediterranean plate, but those will have to wait until my next visit to Ft Lauderdale. Good for a solo visit, or a date, or a group.

So I finally got around to dropping into this new gem on the Drive and I am sooooo glad I did. I went with a couple of friends around 8pm on a Sunday. There was a nice crowd of people, but not overly crowded. Carol (one of the owners) greeted us immediately and made us feel right at home. The decor of this place is rustic yet remarkably modern and comfortable and you just feel good here. We ordered a great bottle of Malbec from our server David and he was very helpful in answering all of our questions. As the menu here is primarily small plates that are meant to be shared, we ordered several and did just that. The Pork Belly Watermelon Salad was quite simply delicious...warm crispy chunks of pork with just enough fat on them to make them tasty and the opposing sweetness of the watermelon was the perfect compliment. Also very good was the Caramelized Onion/Bacon Flatbread....The Mac and Cheese was very flavorful, although I would have preferred a slightly thicker sauce. The only dish that I thought was just so so was the Patatas Bravas which I thought needed a bit less sweetness in the tomato sauce and a tad more heat...but then I am comparing it to the same dish that I ate so many times in southern Spain....for here it is a very good effort. Food aside, this is a great place to feel welcome. Service was prompt, efficient and pleasant, and everyone here seemed genuinely glad that we were there...will definitely return to try the other items on their menu!

I have been trying to figure out how to write this review since last night when we were at the Restaurant. I wasn't sure if I should write the review as a regular customer or as a person who has been in the food service industry for 30+ years and am currently a Food Safety Specialist. The last time I wrote a review that had something to do with food safety, I received a negative email stating that since I did not post what the violations were that the review was not valid. With that being said I am not giving reviews to make a person lose business but to make them aware that people are watching, ie Dirty Dining and similar news segments. For me it is my job to watch everything going on in the Restaurants along with employee practices pertaining to health code violations. Call it occupational hazard but here is what we were subjected to; we walked in and were greeted by the bartender, where given menus and talked about the beers, wines and ciders. His recommendation was perfect. We then ordered the Bacon,Caramelized Onion & Goat Cheese Flatbread. It was delicious, so on to the next order. As our order went to the kitchen I could now see the person doing the cooking and that's when things changed. The second order was Empanadas and Chicken Spinach Roasted Red Pepper & Mozzarella ( pre made and wrapped in foil at reach in cooler ) again delicious. Our last order was the Zesty Lime Shrimp & Avocado Crostini ( the portion was more than ample and could have used a few more crostini ) by that time I couldn't take it anymore after watching the cook repeatedly violate Health code practices. I would be more than happy to share specific concerns to the owners.

I have been meaning to go to this place since it first opened as it is right around the corner from my house. I could kick myself for not going earlier. The food and service was awesome. Great tapas foods that are great to share. Very reasonable prices. This is going to be one of regular places to visit.

Holy smokes was I blown away by the food here! What a lovely little spot with great ambience, service, wines, and last but not least: FOOD! Unfortunately I don't have a menu to quote exactly what I ordered but it was a pear and blue cheese salad and a Macaroni with Brie and another type of cheese that was out of this world! I can't stop thinking about it! I don't live close but will be making the trip up there again to indulge more!

Checked this place out over the weekend. So glad we did! Food is great and affordable, beer and wine selection are excellent, servers are very nice and the owners always makes sure to check on you as well. Great experience here and it's noce to have another good FOOD place on the drive that doesn't have the same old bar feel. Great mixed crowd as well! Im sure I will be there many many more times!

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. Their beer and wine selection is like no other in the area that we know of. The tapas were phenomenal. Everyone was friendly. We also appreciated the owners' many personal touches -- from the menu to the decor. It did get quite loud inside as the evening progressed, but everyone was having a great time. We can't wait to go back!
